ROBERT ANTHONY is one of DFW’s top hip hop personalities.
Robert is a Dallas Jesuit grad with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology/sociology from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.
A dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Robert has recently been named Company Director of Park Cities Studios Hip Hop, overseeing classes and choreographing/presenting the Adult and Kids’ companies.
He has also been named Assistant Producer of Big D Dance, a new entertainment company where his work will include coordinating event entertainment and flash mobs; presenting Hip Hop and Break Dancing workshops with top guests; and presenting the high-profile 2014 Dallas Dance-Off! in the Arts District.
Robert’s dance background includes hip hop (popping, locking, and b-boying), jazz, modern and acrobatics. He continues his training in ballet, Latin/ballroom dance, and current forms of urban dance. He has studied with many well-known choreographers locally and abroad; however, he credits his dancing career to his teacher and mentor, Keith Clark.
