Originally from Dallas, Texas Adrienne Healy began her dance training at age 2. She competed and trained in the techniques of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop contemporary, and ballroom. In 2013 she was accepted into Booker T Washington Highschool for the Performing and Visual Arts. She was selected to perform with the highest level performance company, Repertory 1, where she learned choreography and new techniques from dancers and companies such as Complexions, Alvin Ailey and Sidra Bell. After 13 years of training in various styles, Adrienne’s love of ballroom drew her to specialize. She moved to New York where she trained with 8-time world champion Shirley Ballas and 11-time world champions Eugene Katsevman and Maria Manusova. As an active competitor, Adrienne travels nationally and internationally to learn, train, and compete in ballroom. Adrienne is passionate about spreading the knowledge and love of dance to others and hopes to have a lasting impact on the students who attend her class.
